Great for a family getaway
The hospitality was top-notch, Frank, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our rooms without asking. The breakfast was a feast, like I’ve never had before, cooked fresh and served hot – seriously, you can’t put a price on that kind of quality.
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly but honestly, worth every penny.

Our experience was overshadowed by the limited seating in the garden area. It was frustrating trying to find a place to sit while the kids played. the beautiful rooms were not enough to make up for the cramped outdoor space where we wanted to relax.

The ability to relax with beautiful art all around and enjoy the lovely garden made it extra special. The only thing was the bed felt a bit snug for two, but honestly, it was a minor thing compared to the overall experience! 🌿

We had a lovely stay at the Alcombe House Hotel! The rooms were beautifully decorated and incredibly spacious, making it perfect for our family. The kids loved playing in the stunning garden while we relaxed. Breakfast was very generous, and we felt thoroughly welcomed throughout our visit.
More seating in the garden would have been nice.

Great vibes but service lacking
We spent a night here for a family get-together. The place is really clean and cozy, and the bar area was chill for hanging out. But the welcome was super grumpy, which kinda set a bad tone. the heating took forever to kick in. Not sure I'd come back after this experience.

It was just an appropriate option for a day tour in Minehead with reasonable value. The room was clean and simple, which was all I needed. Try to check in early to avoid any problems later.
